What is Honour Wiki?[edit]
Honour Wiki is a public knowledge base that organizes and presents structured information about higher-education institutions in India.
Our goal is to make institutional information easier to discover, verify, and improve over time.
What you will find here[edit]
- Institution pages with key metadata such as AISHE code, type, state, district, and status
- Categories that help you browse institutions by geography, affiliation, and other attributes
- Redirect pages for AISHE codes that point to the correct institution pages
How the content is created[edit]
Many pages are initially generated from structured datasets. These pages are designed to be improved:
- Add verified details (programs, facilities, admissions, contacts)
- Fix formatting or naming issues
- Add citations to reliable sources
Contributing[edit]
You can help by:
- Correcting titles or metadata (with sources where possible)
- Expanding sections like History, Programs, Facilities, Admissions, and Alumni
- Adding citations and external references
- Reporting duplicates or incorrect redirects
Data notes[edit]
- AISHE codes may redirect to an institution page.
- “Status” reflects available dataset status and may require verification.
